Makeshift Union Cutting & Grooming’s mission is to create an environment that caters to the ‘everyday’ person, focusing less on the ego of the hair stylist, and more on the needs of the client. Our name is derived from two sources: First, “Makeshift”: using only what is necessary and available to create and sustain. And “Union”: promoting solidarity among colleagues and clients alike to form a singular bond. In short, our pledge is commitment to the client, enhancing their salon experience, and cultivating meaningful, long term relationships with them.

Finally! After months of formulating and testing, my first two products are available for purchase. Enjoy the cleansing and hydrating effects of these two proprietary items. The wash has the warm, oak-laden scents of your favorite bourbon, while the conditioner smells of the sweet Carolina tobacco houses. These can be used for hair, body and beard alike.

She takes every detail into consideration, and my hair looks great whether I spend the time to style it in the morning or just roll out of bed. She’s an artist, and I am happy to be a regular now that I’ve had my hair cut, highlighted and styled, and had my beard trimmed. All the stylists have great personality and it’s a very good vibe in the shop.
re you tired of getting a subpar haircut? Do you really wish your hair would just fix itself? Then Veronkia is your woman! She does great with color, but I feel like anyone can do color these days. It’s the art of a good haircut that seems to be lost. Veronkia does an amazing job and even though Ive moved from the Vegas area, I traveled back to get my hair cut by her after getting a not-so-amazing cut in my new home.
I found this place by luck and I am so happy I did, Eden did my layering cut and it turned out so pretty! She’s amazing and such a beautiful soul, I promise you will leave her chair feeling so happy!! Bryson did my undercut/design and I was shook!!! Being a female going to Barbershop’s can be so intimidating but finding Bryson here, he is so talented and I can promise I’ll be coming back to see both of them!!! Thanks guys!!!
